In 1793: Patriots & Traitors the players will be travelling back to the French revolution when the survival of the newborn French Republic hung by single thread! King Louis XVI has been overthrown and on the borders the Austrians and Prussians are ready to invade. On the one side the Royalists are doing everything in their power to incite rebellion and sow discord while on the other, the people clamor for rights and bread.The shadow of the guillotine is looming menacingly…

As conservative, moderate or radical the players will attempt to steer the revolution through all this chaos, but of course they all have their own objective too.

1793: Patriots & Traitors is very immersive, card driven and asymmetrical boardgame. It just oozes the French revolution! What makes it unique is that it allows the players to formulate laws that will not only alter the board, but also change the game rules. Of course, it’s a revolution!
