How do you play Graantje de Voorste?
Each round, six cages are filled with grain. Each player then chooses a card from their hand and places it face-down in front of them. The color of the card determines which cage the poultry or fox goes to. The number on the card indicates the point value of the animal. This is important if several birds go to the same cage or if a fox catches such an animal.
A bird that goes to a cage alone, takes all the grains. If there are several birds, they can share the whole lot with each other, but if there is one that does not like sharing, they all throw a dice and add the result to their point value. The one with the highest result can have all the grains. A fox that goes to a cage alone, gets nothing (he does not like grain), but if there is poultry present, he eats it all. If several foxes go to the same cage, they have to roll the dice. Foxes are selfish animals and do not share anything on principle!
Once the last grains have been scattered in the cages, the last round begins. The one who ultimately has collected the most points with his collected grains and poultry cards is the winner.
