Dine like a king
Welcome to the royal dinner of Louis XIV!
As a waiter, it is your job to serve the picky nobles at this extravagant party. Enjoy the masked ball in the evening, but don’t get too distracted. Nobody likes to wait for their food!
In the middle of the table is a tray with various dishes that a player can choose from during his or her turn. Choose a row or column and place it in front of your nobles to provide them with their wishes. But be careful! The nobles are picky eaters. If you place something that does not meet their requirements, all previous dishes of this noble will disappear into the trash. If you manage to satisfy the noble’s wish, you score points. Are you the waiter who makes the evening a success, or will your guests leave with an empty stomach?
Royale: Party at Louis’ was designed by the Dutch game designer Wouter van Strien. The artwork was created by Zhenya Lyapina, who also illustrated Jolly Dutch, Tricky Badger, Fast Food Fury and Lemur Tails.
