Tricky Badger

Deep in the forests of Central Europe lives the endangered European hamster.

You have been called in to protect hamsters and to keep the badger, the natural enemy, away. Collect animals by winning tricks, but make sure you only win the right tricks!

In Tricky Badger you play tricks to collect cards. Each round, players have 9 cards in hand and there are 10 cards in the market that are being fought over. The active player chooses a card that will be fought over. The card indicates whether the highest or the lowest card will win this card. The player who wins the trick takes the card into his own supply. The next player clockwise may now choose a card that can be fought over. We repeat this until everyone has played all 9 cards. The round is over. Shuffle the cards and deal everyone 9 cards again. The market is renewed with 10 new cards.

You score points for the cards you have collected. A corn wolf with a beetle and grain earn you extra points. A bone keeps a badger busy. So you can safely have it next to your corn wolf. So look carefully at which card you do and do not want. Before your work as a forest ranger fails completely.
