A game inspired by the Flower Route

It is the end of the 19th century and the Dutch landscape is dotted with more than 9,000 windmills. Some were built specifically to keep the low-lying areas, the polders, dry. In the polders between these windmills, there are fields full of colorful tulips. The tulip once played an important role during the turbulent history of the first financial bubble (tulip mania), but has now become an essential part of the Dutch landscape, especially along the famous Flower Route.

In Windmill Valley, a game inspired by the Flower Route, you and up to three other players take on the role of tulip growers and entrepreneurs. You build and improve windmills. You go in search of new tulip bulbs to plant and you try to gain a head start thanks to helpers and profitable contracts. Make your competitors look enviously at your beautiful flower fields!
