A cooperative memory game

The Yōkai are confused. These Japanese spirits have lost their family members and are therefore not happy. Calm them down by reuniting them with their own relatives. In this game you play together as one team. But you may only communicate with each other via hint cards. Remember what you see and work together to reunite the Yōkai families.

We also call Yōkai somewhat irreverently ‘relationship therapy in Japanese style’, because this game is very popular with partners. You win (or lose) together and to be able to play it well, you must above all try to get used to each other. You turn over two cards in turn, but you are not allowed to tell what you see. Nevertheless, you have to try to clean up the tableau together. A matter of clever signaling and communicating without words!
