Warhammer: The Old World Doubles: Highlander II the return of Kurgan

Embark on an epic Warhammer adventure where armies rally under the banner of Team Highlander or Team Kurgan for a thrilling, large-scale battle! Forge alliances and grant your general a unique combat upgrade that can turn the tide in heart-stopping one-on-one duels. Thanks to a clever limit on duplicate units and maximum saves, you’ll play a balanced tactical game where creativity and storytelling take centre stage. Capture or destroy the Highlander Sword objectives on the battlefield to boost your army with powerful effects, and fight together for eternal glory!
Event format:
- Battle Brothers: 2 players versus 2 players
- Highlander theme: only one of each unit type is allowed
- 3 doubles matches on Saturday
- Optional mega-battle on Sunday

On Sunday, individual players join either Team Highlander or Team Kurgan for a legendary, cinematic Warhammer: The Old World mega-battle. Everyone battles on a gigantic table with the 1,000-point army they built on Saturday, with fun and simplicity being the top priorities. To keep the pace of the game tight, teams act as a single collective front, with a chosen ‘Grand Generalissimo’ making the final decisions when in doubt. The ultimate winner will be determined at 15:00 based on the number of enemy generals eliminated and units destroyed.
