Easy to learn, yet strategic games!

NRPGames aims to create games in the Family+ segment — meaning easy to learn, yet strategically engaging. They have already organized nearly 100 tournaments, with the highlight being the annual Dutch Championship Rifugio held during Spellenspektakel.

So far, three games have been released: RIFUGIO (sold over 10,000 copies in the Netherlands!), MENHIRS (with which the designer won the Dutch Game Author Award in 2020), and ICE HIKE (NRPGames’ newest game, where players battle each other using a polar bear).

Join the Dutch Championship RIFUGIO!

On Sunday, November 8th, the eleventh Dutch Championship RIFUGIO will take place. From 13:00 to 15:00, qualification rounds will be held, where each participant can play two matches (each lasting approximately 30 minutes). The top 8 players will qualify for the finals, which take place immediately afterward. From that point on, only the winners advance. All matches are played one-on-one.

The ultimate winner will earn the title of Dutch Champion Rifugio for a year and will be awarded a solid silver Rifugio game piece (worth €110), engraved with “RIFUGIO NK 2026” and crafted by goldsmith Kirsten de Bruijn.

Participation is free, but be quick — there are only 16 spots available. You can already register via the event on the NRPGames Facebook page or by sending an email to info@nrpgames.com.
