My motivation for creating the game Bird Life is that I (Rody Calis) think that there are too few board games on the market in which birds play the leading role. The most famous board game is Wingspan. Bird Life obviously has features of Wingspan in the game (bird cards, food particles and habitats), but the game mechanism is really different from Wingspan. With Bird Life, I hope to be able to offer a fun board game variant to many board game enthusiasts. If Bird Life is well received at the fair, I want to start a crown funding for it so that the game can actually be offered to all board game enthusiasts.

Bird Life is a game in which you experience a year of a bird’s life. Play tactically by achieving goals. Create a mini deckbuilding experience by performing special actions of birds. Build nests, avoid dangers and thwart your opponent(s). At the end of a year, you add up all the points you have earned and see who the winner of “Bird Life” is.
